Demolition for rear extension - Chigwell

This Chigwell job cleared the existing rear structures to make room for a new extension.

We stripped the felt from the flat roof and took down the single-storey brick extension and the polycarbonate side return. The concrete roof was broken out by hand, with the steel mesh left in place as the slab was cut through.

A mini digger and breaker then cleared the rubble and opened the ground at the back of the house, ready for the new rear extension.
